The story of our company started back in 1962 when Antonio Ghiringhelli, already the owner of a weaving mill founded in 1947, decided to start a new business specialised in the production of neutral fabrics used to create care labels for clothing. Continuous investments in Research and Development over the years have allowed us to expand our know-how, creating fabrics specific to other industrial sectors, such as flame retardant fabrics for automotive labels or fabrics for the production of plasters.
Despite the highs and lows seen in the textile sector in recent decades, we have always believed in Made in Italy and supported all-Italian manufacturing that has allowed us to maintain superior quality and safety standards of our products.
Today we are one of the few factories that still produce label fabrics in Italy and every single day we are committed to our company being recognised globally as a reputable and reliable partner.

At present we export our label fabrics throughout Europe, the Mediterranean basin and Central/South America.
Our export department accounts for about 50% of annual turnover, something we are very proud of as it confirms the quality of our products and the recognised reputation of our company.

Fabrics for printers and distributors
We produce neutral labeling fabrics and work with companies that print labels, cut them and apply them to finished products.
The ongoing investments in Research and Development have enabled us to design, and in some cases patent, fabrics suitable for all types of printing, from off-set printing to thermal-transfer printing, digital printing and silk-screen printing.
This has opened the gates not only to the clothing sector, but also to the medical, automotive, furniture and packaging sectors where we have become a landmark reference for anyone who wants to produce labels with certified and resistant fabrics.
Quality label fabrics
The reliability of our company and the quality of our products have been key to resisting the changes in the market.
Our production process has been ISO 9001 certified and our assortment also includes fabrics for GRS certified labels, the international standard for the production of sustainable fabrics.
We also manufacture OEKO-TEX class 1 certified textile materials for labels, which are suitable for contact with children’s skin, and compostable fabrics certified according to the TUV Austria Standard.
